Everyone at some point in their life has made up an excuse as to why they didn’t or couldn’t do something. The only legitimate excuses are doctors’ excuses. Tell someone anything other than that and he/she will more than likely not care about what you have to say. They may act like they do but should’ve, could’ve, would’ve sounds more like blah, blah, blah to him/her.
The best way to avoid having any excuses is to do what you said you were going to do. Don’t tell people things that you know you really don’t plan on doing. Your word is bond. That means that you hold yourself responsible for everything that you say. Don’t say it unless you mean it!
